The Title Race: Arsenal vs. The Machine

We are officially in the "Squeaky Bum Time" of the 2025/26 season. Arsenal currently sits at the top of the pile with 67 points from 30 games. However, Manchester City is breathing down their necks with 60 points and a crucial game in hand.

One slip-up from the Gunners could hand the momentum back to Pep Guardiola’s side. Meanwhile, the battle for the top four is a total dogfight between Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Chelsea.

Golden Boot Watch: Haaland’s World

Is anyone surprised? Erling Haaland is once again making the Premier League look like a training ground. He has already netted 22 goals this season. The surprise of the season, however, is Igor Thiago from Brentford, who is keeping pace with 18 goals.

FA Cup Chaos: The Giants Fall

While the league is tense, the FA Cup provided the real drama this past weekend. In a result that will be talked about for decades, Sunderland (sitting 11th in the EPL) was dumped out by League One’s bottom club, Port Vale, in a 1-0 shocker.

Fulham also saw their cup dreams end at the hands of Championship side Southampton, thanks to a stoppage-time penalty from Ross Stewart. The "Magic of the Cup" is alive and well in 2026!

Upcoming Blockbusters (Matchweek 30)

If you’re planning your weekend, these are the games you cannot miss. Arsenal faces a tricky test against Everton, while Manchester City travels to East London to face West Ham.
